About

Stephen was born, studied, and lived the first 45 years of his life in Norfolk, England.

In 2011 a friend of his, living and working in New Zealand at the time of the tragic Christchurch earthquakes, made contact, and encouraged him to come and visit.

He was sure that his skills would be made good use of!

Stephen travelled to Christchurch for a 3-week vacation, where he attended a couple of interviews with a large Construction company.

Subsequently a job offer was made and accepted, and there the biggest decision of his adult life was made.

He began the move to the other side of the world, with his belongings following on in a container ship.

Stephen quickly settled in, and embraced the Kiwi way of life, where he spent 3+ years helping with the residential rebuild in Christchurch
